The Mankato Event Center is a wedding reception venue and banquet hall conveniently located in downtown Mankato. This unique wedding venue provides an elegant and inexpensive place to get married or celebrate following your ceremony. The reception hall can comfortably accommodate wedding parties and celebrations of all types, from small weddings to gatherings of around 160 guests (with dinner seating – capacity is higher if fewer tables are required). The use of our tables and chairs is included in your rental, and these can be situated throughout the catering hall in whatever arrangement best accommodates your needs. The attached commercial kitchen and stylish bar provide plenty of options for food and alcohol service as your guests mingle and celebrate your big day. The reception facility’s new stage lights and sound system are ideal for delivering speeches from the head table before turning the equipment over to the D.J. and dancing the night away.
